Many!!!!!! one of the main ones, from a tacticle standpoint, was that world war 2 was mechanized (ships, tanks, air mailitia, many ground vehicles, bombs). World war one used guns, a spattling of tanks, cannon fire....and many many many troops still walked on foot for miles to form a formal attack- think the civil war.
