        Calm down, friend.  You vote down an answer at the answer site.  You vote down a question right up there at the question site, right under the "answer this" and "follow this" arrows.  If you didn't TD at the question site, you are OK.  Hover over the TU or TD to check...you will see "Cancel vote down" if a TD vote has been recorded.  You can cancel a TU or a TD and vote again.
