She is right handed but I do not understand how you feel that would stop her from painting her right hand?

A self portrait - looking in mirror? Paints what she sees with her right hand, which is in the portrait. Did she paint from a photo?
Some of it is artist interpretation or imagination. I'm sure she could paint from her mind too.
