May be you. But the rest: NO.
The rest of the world knows Ali. There are more people outside the U.S. than you know and most of them love boxing.
No offense taken, mycatsmom.
Well it won't be you since you asked this question twice instead of just once.

what about my question posted twice. possibly it was some technical problems, not my fault.
do you think that your answer is pretty witty? i'm sure you do. so carry on. I noticed that here likes to get personal for no apparent reason. what a welcome place!
There is no right answer to your question. It is simply a matter of opinion and cannot be proven. Why do you ask it in the first place?

(You forced me to go back and look at the question again myself :)
THUMP THUMP THUMP. A lot of people celebrate his birth on 12/25 and his resurrection from death on "Easter Sunday".

It might be that Lady Gaga is the best known, and who knows, even popular overseas.. The last time I looked at just 1 of her "Bad Romance" videos, it had over 435,000,000 hits. When Muhammad Ali was in his prime, more people in some countries knew who he was than knew who the U.S. president was! http://youtu.be/qrO4YZeyl0I
