    how about Kryptonite ?

Star stuff rains out of the sky constantly. That is most easily observed in the Grand Canyon where layer after layer from before life evolved on this planet to the present is laid down like pages of a book for all to read. The soil I dig up in my yard to a depth of 1 foot is a couple of hundred years old, all of it fell out of the sky except the organic matter.
