I got max from the dog shelter, so i do not know his perants we have spent some 3000 dollars on him and found out that wheat is bad for him, we fot him on buffalo and lamb ,, he lies to chew on his paws and scratch his ears even though there very clean. Max is a Cocker Spanial buff color

Cocker spaniels need lots and lots of exercise, they are essentially working dogs. I hope also that he is getting some kind of roughage in his diet, buffalo and lamb could be a little to much protein, ask at a stockist for a gluten free dry dog food and persevere with him until he gets used to it, and plenty exercise, remember.

Hi Grizzlie 1st of all thank you for the rescue of your dog ....I am sorry he has been poorly you have had some good feedback but we are not VETS on this site and I would say please take this dog to the Vets asap ,,,,,I know you have spent a lot of money already as ROMOS pointed out dogs do need roughage and this dogs need lots of exercise they are one of the high maintence dogs you can have so lots of walks for this boy and they love balls to fetch let us know haow you get on the chewing of the paws could be anythink from skin complaint to boredom
