We must make it a point to not re-elect anybody for the next few elections to let the politicians know they are not going to be in office for life

We voters however CAN limit the terms of all elected officials by simply not keeping them in office for more than two or three terms.
One often hear the comment that Joe is good elected official, we should keep him in office.
My answer to that is always "So what, so was the guy before he get into that office?"
The Founders wanted us to be "Citizen Legislators," not to be in office forever.
There is nothing the Constitution that provides a pension for a Congressman, the Congressmen gave themselves a pension.

If our government fails we will simply give it a rebirthing experience ( removing all the hot air and liars). Then we go through the rewrite process where we go through our History and see where we choose to pick it all up again. Then reintegrate or throw out historical laws that proved unacceptable by our experience. The process would take a few years to complete and the people would have to take a much great part in reconstruction. Then the tinker-toy government would go through a variety of refinements and improvements before being accepted by the state governments and people of the US. Collapse at the Federal level would likely bring in NATO to assume control of our military. Plans like this have been in place for years and there is nothing to be alarmed about should this ever happen.
