non- cold/ flu/ pneumonia/ allery/ sinus infection mucus can come from a reaction to food- milk and dairy roducts are first on the list. keep eating them but drink water after u do. If this desn't help cut down on the milk and yourt (use calcium supplimented foods that have vit D (helps your body grt thr calcium). still have mucus- time to chat with your doc.
