1. My first wish is that my three sons be clean and sober, with no criminal records, and an opportunity to make their way successfully in the world (which means they would be emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually healthy and have the drive and initiative to accomplish something positive with the good brains and talents they already possess), a loving and compatible, healthy (as stated above) spouse beside each one, and years to do so, :D :D :D
2. The second wish would be for the same as #1, for myself. :D
3. The third wish would be as daren1 has stated: two more wishes. :D :D

You would rather have people starved to death or bombed to death, or killed in a firing squad instead of making room and saving them from complete terror? Is that my correct take on things in your world? Because, you already don't like them before meeting them.
I don't know what type of religion you study. I have studied the path of Jesus. He did not teach me to hate because of race, creed, religion or colour.
I am not a Christian however, I do take the path of Jesus very seriously. I believe his words and true respect for the Universe. This I hold true to my heart. I believe the man walked this planet and his gift to us is true.
Your words hurt me to read. Many of them.

Here is the kick in the pants. If something like the crisis in Syria which has been coming for 20 years and the crisis in Iraq which has been coming because of the hideous Bush family happened in your country, it would be a very large swim to safety. In my country, we would all travel up north. We have all learned how to survive as it is taught in our school system, we all know how to build an igloo, fish, hunt, build a lean-to and take care of ourselves. That is the glory of Canada. We do let everyone in and we do teach how to survive. WE embrace our aboriginal people and everyone else that arrives. Canada is proud of our differences. WE celebrate the fact. Borders are raised so people can't see.

I tried link a few more times and then indeed I pushed too hard lost my grip on the thing and it fell to the floor. Parts scattered across the room. I managed to find everything but the hands. They could have gone into a tiny crack on the floor or the dog could have walked link over one of them and tracked it outside. At any rate they were link both gone. Luckily anticipating such a disaster the DIY Watch Club had provided extras.
