The original purpose that our government accepted as the reason to get things into orbit was to demonstrate our ability to launch nuclear weapons and accurately come down. That lead to more and more ambitious projects that lead Hollywood to stir the imagination in movie fantasises. Space is not here and I’m not leaving.

I would like to send some mining robots out there to get more detailed info about what’s there. The Mars rover may provide some nice data. If I had personal control of a robot on the moon that checks out rocks, that could be very nice but I would have to know what I was doing and there’s the hitch….I am so clueless about what button to press on my PC occasionally. I’ll just have to stay with RC road rage games.
