This Q&A site is moderated by its members, hopefully - including yourself! Moderation rights are gradually assigned to the site users based on the accumulated "karma" points. These points are added to the users account when others vote for his/her questions or answers. These points (very) roughly reflect the level of trust of the community.

akaQA at present has 3 tagged moderators. There are also the administrators. What you've copied and pasted here is a write up that should be updated. On the old forum, all members had the ability to edit other member's comments and answers and they could also edit topic titles. Because of abuse and miss use of that feature it was removed from the members and now only the forum moderators who wear the moderator tag can edit comments. We can not edit topic titles however.
