Nah, money is the reason for the season. The church gets richer because all of a sudden people remember to go and some even send fat checks in a Christmas card trying to make up for all the Sunday sermons they missed. Stores get richer because of the whole..."lets pretend that gift giving makes us better people", marketing scam. Gas companies profit from all the holiday travel, buses, trains, planes, all make money. The money changers are in the temple and you all do not even see it. Hahahaha. Money is the reason for the season!
