what is the idea that "God is the Great Clock Maker"
I want to know what this theory is called, "God being the Great Clock Maker", who created the world and the just stepped back and watched the world happen. This suggest that God has no interaction what so ever with mankind. It invalidates God's miracles including the birth of Jesus, and the New Testament, but also every miracle of the Old Testament.
I can't remember where I've heard this, but I want to know more about this theory so if someone else has knowledge about this, please let me know.
