    p(5)=-5*-5+110*5-1000

    doing a graph for Algebra 2 in CTU online college. I am doing 3 different numbers but if i can get this one done i will be ok

    p(5) = 5 * -5 + 100 * 5 - 1000    Algebra 2 is way beyond me, but I would solve this as follows:  (Just disregard if I'm blowing smoke)
    Order of operations:  multiply and divide before add and subtract unless designated otherwise
    5p = -25 + 500 - 1000
    5p = 525 - 1000
    5p = -475
    5p/5 = -475/5
    p = -95
