It depends on what state you live in. GOOGLE grants and take it from there. Seems to me that grants are generally for educational purposes. Do you have a job and just need some help? If so get a second job. If you can't do that, try the Salvation Army or Catholic Social Services (no you don't have to be Catholic), The Jewish League, Kiwanis, Check with your local Social Services. You could also try to get Food Stamps. It's only a temporary fix so a job and second job are your best bets. The energy you spend trying to get free stuff can be put to better use looking for a job or two.
