mel, how is your Mom? Are you still unable to fly to see your Mom? The holiday season has always been depressing for me. My husband died on Dec.23rd, Chester Novemeber 1st and my Mom on New years day.I think about you and your family and your Mom all the time and praying for you. Let me know how things aregoing. Ann I am waiting for the MRI results before I go down the Family think thats the best...Oh Ann I cant fly I have panic attacts cant go on tubes either (underground) The weather has let up so I will drive down though on wednesday we have storms comming in she is comfortable and is eating but on a drip for fluids we will know more on Monday and my brother is making a appointment to see the Doctor and I will have a video call so I can find out whats what if you know my meaning...I lost my Father on christmas eve then we lay him to rest on new year eve this was 20 years ago and i never celebrated christmas for five years as i was too upset I just hope its not going to repeat it selve as My Mom loved Christmas I havnt put ant decorations up I think it might temt fate am I being silly Ann.... I will let you know asap when I know more! thank you so much Ann for your thoughts and preys I now just want her to suffer xxxxx

Not in my immediate area, but I know they exist. I'm some distance from a big city and not exposed to the horror many are forced to endure.

we see them all the time here. i think its pittiful how they can tear down good houses and buildings that could be used for shelters

Yes there are plenty of them,one poor old fella chooses to set up for the night right out the front of the police station,he has done it for years,i am so glad the cops let him sleep there.

I stopped to help a man lying on the floor of a public building.He did tell me he was an alcoholic(anyone who knows me knows theres no way am i judging him,there but for the grace of God...) I sat with him for quite some time and one of the things he said is he didnt have a home.I felt so terribly sad for him in a godawful situation
