    SHINGLES?????

    I,ve had this for 4 days now, no sign of the pain letting up, even got stronger painkillers from doc, any tips out there in the cybersphere?

      If your doctor has not put you on prednisone yet, see if that is an option for you. It will help with the pain as it reduces the inflammation faster.

        Got it Ms C. Small improvement, but still bloody sore.

        I had it 15 years ago, only thing to do is rest, and take pain killers. Its your own chickenpox virus coming to life again, it lays dormant in you for years, don't think you can have a again not sure. It can go on for a few weeks.

          You can get it more than 1 time. My grandfather got shingles 2 times in 2 years.

            Never been near, they,re keeping them indoors for a week to "acclimatize" boy are they in for a shock when they let them out.
