The purpose of marriage is for the protection and the raising of the children. And it was traditionally to indentify who the father of the children is.......for inheritence reasons. The law traditionally recognizes only the children of a man if he is married to the woman that bore the child (ren)

Great then that means anyone who gets married and does not produce and raise children should be automatically divorced since they are not fulfilling the purpose of marriage according to you.

That's it? No other reason? What if people can't have babies? Should they be allowed to get married?
Gething married is more a commitment that we are willing to devote our live together in trust ,sharring one another feeling ,and take responsibilty in raising the children if any.Also to be committed till death do us part.It is a sacremaent act that you;v both promise before God and men.
