      I would contact the Mobile Phones Service Provider especially if you are trying to track it through the IMEI.  If it has GPS on it then they will be able to give you the phones location.  Be aware that most providers have very strict security in place so be prepared to go through a lot of red tape.  If  the phone has GPS and you want to search for it yourself try http://www.livephonetracking.com/cell-phone-gps-tracking.html
