There are tons of free AVI to DVD converters and here are just a few. Now as far as being able to play it on any dvd player that is different. The age and formats accepted by the DVD player could make playing an issue. Try these downloads http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html?gclid=CJ74-cua56wCFdIAQAod41iqKQ or http://www.avitodvdfree.com/ or http://www.minidvdsoft.com/dvdcreator/avi-to-dvd.html Also when you convert AVI to DVD you will probably have a watermark (a company logo or website logo) that will be on the lower corner of the screen. Kind of annoying but doesnt affect the playing of the DVD
