do you have a traditional christmas lunch (or dinner)

This is my sneaky way of looking for ideas, I'm going to see my daughter next week, I promised to cook  an early Christmas dinner as we can't spend it together, no idea what to cook other than chook or turkey.

sounds good, we don't have cornish game hens here, are they similar to regular chickens?

They are mostly white meat (my favorite) and can be flavored in so many ways. I'm going to broil mine with lots of basting... I thought you could get CGH's anywhere. Live and learn, I guess......

Darci13, don't you celebrate Christmas?, there are staff at work that don't because of religious reasons

I could not venture a guess never had a traditional Christmas.

what do you do? its very hot here this time of year, so a hot meal is often a bit much.

Right now absolutely nothing probably will have a sandwich or something like that.

Turkey, cooked to perfection by yours` truly, ham , roast veal. baked spuds plus othr vegs. Home made plum duff. Hurry up the 25th.

    eggplant

I think we'll come to your place...

Not really. Most likely eat a sandwich.

    eggplant, why no hot tucka?

Well, we'll be by ourselves no doubt. So, I don't feel like cooking.

The main bird is turkey, lots of turkeys.
