What kind of help are you looking for? I can offer empathy for you but not your son. He chose to drink and drive. The consequences are his.  You need to take the same line. You should not have to suffer because of his selfishness, lack in judgment or immaturity. Yes, anyone who drinks and drives is selfish and immature. He should have been insured knowing that his drinking makes him a risk and a hazard. I empathize with you but this is his lesson. God can not fix it and neither can you. Only your son can fix it. It might make him grow up and stop drinking. 

This should be a "sobering experience" for him but 5 will get you 10 that he is still drinking. It's time to step back and let him "hit bottom" on his own............
