Timing belts supposedly are to be replaced every 60K miles. Bullshit, I just inspected one pf my cars for the third time since I owned it. It has 233K miles, the belt looks brand new. This is one of the biggest garage scams that most people fall for. I just replaced one for a friend at his request, his also did not need replacement but he is anal when it comes to his owners manual. Mechanics here charge $800.00-$1200.00 this is money thrown out the window.
