      Generic, buy in bulk, special deal with the pharmaceutical  companies.... just guesses.

        Well Colleen that an immediate answer one may give however what could explain a genric drug normally selling for say $30.00 basic $1.00 a pill selling for $4.00 puts it around 13 cent a pill. Wal Mart and there are other Pharmacies that carry this offer. Or the other that are selling at the higher cost just gowging customers?

        Yes, the other companies could just be going for the larger profit. This is called the free market.

        Target does the 30 and 90 day generic drugs too and I like their pharmacy a whole lot better than Wal-Mart they are very kind and helpful to me whenever I have used them and they also have a list online for that and also one for pets that they do that way also.
