A script is also the words and actions that go into a play or movie. Similar to a book.....
The script is used to read one's lines (the words assigned to a particular character), during practice, and to use in memorizing; It also directs how to perform the actions one's character is directed to do via stage direction that are included in the script.
ALSO (I forgot this til now) Script is like lettering or penmanship
