A different night sky, stars etc, seasons opposite to those living north of the equator, different vegitation.

Those are general thing now for Australia in particular:

Good looking men, excluding yours truly, more consistently beautiful women, less <unfortuneately growing, obese people, a dollar that is worth a dollar, kangaroos, emus, platypus, koalas,worlds deadliest snake, spider, sea creature, soldiers worth they salt, more diverse scenery, you can travel the entire country without crossing a "foreign" border or changing coinage or needing a passport.miles of clear "sandy" beaches and the bluest sky you have ever seen.

And if that is not enough Australia has ME.
