i think peasants are found just about anywhere on earth, it's been here for centuries..

Of course.  Some choose to be, others happen to be and some folks have no choice.

Yup. I am a bona fida peasant and am proud to say there are lots of folk here who would cherrish the title seeing as we all get to jeer at our cultural rich and elite.
