      It gets quiet,calm & hot No wind..As it passes over the wind will come from the opposite direction.

          Actually, I believe there is a calmness in the center of the storm.

              Do you mean a hurricane? Well, lots of them are named for women, and as many a man would attest to, you can't TELL a lot of women anything! So as not to get a lot of "hate mail", the opposite is also true (lol)!
