show him at first what you want him to do and give hime dog treat when he picks the toy up then show him that the toy lives in his toy basket it will take alot of pateints but he will get the hang of it soon good luck

Maybe a time out or two will do the trick.

Hide in toybox,when dogs not paying attention close lid,hopefully it won,t find you.

I think that you can only train kids to do that.....:)

give him a little scooby snack until he gets the routine down, without a reward..

Dunno when Nicholas gets through with his toys he puts them in the water bowl that makes me so mad at him but I have not been able to break him from it he has been doing it since he was a baby kitten and he is now about 7 years old.

HE is waiting for u to put your clutter away so he can learn by example!
