Well, one thing is probably certain. It would be easier to count from 1 to 6!

It depends on which hand has the six fingers. If the 6th finger is on the left hand, the person has an IQ of at least 25% higher than a person with only 5 fingers per hand, and 10% smarter than one whose 6th finger is on the right hand.

The Japanese have a system for multiplying on one's fingers. I don't know that it would work with six fingers. Still, a neat trick......

I would think that it makes counting on ones fingers easier. They're probably smarter in math. :)
