    If a person stops paying on a pay day loan, can they be prosecuted?

    You should pay your loan.  They will attach a collection agency to your file.  It begins with phone calls and then the pressure increases.  If it is only $10.00 that you owe, they want it back.


    You also don't want to effect your credit rating.


    If, for now, you can only make partial payments then phone and let them know.  Lending companies would rather you be honest and try than having to send your file to a collection agency. Collection agencies cost them money and time.

    Not familiar with a Pay Day loan. But if you borrowed it , you should repay it.

    I do not know I always figured those type places were like loan sharks and maybe send someone out to break your legs or something of that nature.  I do not figure they collect in regular ways but I could be dead wrong, but I never have trusted those type places.
