Ethics, simply put, is honesty and doing what you know is right! The medical profession has wonderful people and not so wonderful people, just like every other profession.

Doing whats right by the patient and their family or by their books?
I suppose it would have to be a combination of both...based on intellect and education along with consideration of patients and families. It's difficult to give a general opinion when I have no idea what the "facts" are in your particular situation.
