        I fry up some bacon and when the grease is hot in the iron skillet, I put the cabbage in wet and it sizzles and cookes in about 7 minutes.  Add a little salt and pepper and sugar and that's it.

          I do not use anything at all.  I boil it, drain it, place it in a serving dish, and add some butter, salt and pepper.  That's it.
