Rhododendron: last storm broke off entire stems 4-5inch dia 10-12ft tall can i save/propagate
What is the best technique to propagate Rhododendron? large 40-50 year old 10-12 ft tall. also other large stems split, i used hose clamps and pruning sealer hoping to save them. the large branches are still green the leaves are still ok HELP! I AM THANKFULL FOR ANY SUGGESTION.If you have a answer please explain explicit.
Also can I still move Rhododendron bushes at this time in NY.

Cut back all broken limbs that you can. Sounds like you've done the best doctoring you can for the large limbs. I would not move the plant now. Wait a year or even two. Let it re stabilize itself next spring. It's been through enough trauma for now. Moving it would just be added trauma and stress.
