That is one of my favorite Christmas songs, too, clu. It is beautiful, words and melody! I'll pick a second favorite, just for variety's sake. I am really pleasantly surprised with your answer!

Thanks Bob/PKB It is beautiful! My husbands mother used to sing in the church choir and this was her solo I never got to hear her but I know it was beautiful . Merry Christmas!

Thanks Fishgirl, but i love the hot xmas summer here, i went to Edinburgh hopefully for my first white xmas day and the first time for many years it did not snow, my inlaws blamed me, so i have never experienced a white xmas but a cold one, may be i would have better luck in B.C. Canada.
