for an adult, it used to be 100 , b/c it is scewed by all the people that have a lower I Q. You have to factor them all in. There are many children in certain states that are born with fetal alchohol syndrome and they tend to have low I Q s and learning problems. So, if you average it all out, it comes to about 100. But, prob most of your friends and family's I Q ranges around 125---140. BTW--- I Qs can go up.

There must be a lot of Alchoholics in America for it to make an effect on the nations I.q. score, is it a sad place?,It certainly sounds it
It's a melting pot. All different nationalities. Some brought up on alcohol. America is no sadder than any other country in this world. You might want to check mcm's facts before you judge an entire nation.
