I make my own stuffing with onions and bread parsley from the garden and then oven roast the chestnuts then break them up and stuff the Turkey with it

also make my own pickled onions and this are good as I had chillies and garlic very Hot but good

Being an Aussie,our christmas falls in the summer and it can be quite hot,so our family lunch is cold meats(chicken,pork,ham)and salads(coleslaw,potato salad)and of course we have the traditional plum pudding and cold custard,and not to forget the chips,nuts and lollies.

In my part of the world, Pozole(Mexican pork and hominy stew) is a big favorite that people eat allot of. I have had too much of it and do not care for it at all in any way, shape or form. I get so tired of hearing people saying oh but you will like my Pozole or you will like the way I make it or fix it. Ummm NO I will not!
