I dont have the answers but what would people like to see happen in thier future? theres gotta be enough smart people to know and be able to make the future good safe and secure. I am truly sorry that you are having such a tough time. It is very difficult to understand what is going on when you write these questions as they are very full of bits and pieces.
Baby steps... one issue at a time. You are right. There are a lot of smart people here and maybe someone can give you some solid advice if they knew exactly what Question they are Answering.
