    I am paying my son's college tuetion can I have that as tax diduction even if he doesn't live with me

    Good Father, I don't know if you can claim tuition as a deduction.  However, your Son can be a deduction until he is 22 (in some states, 21 in others) as long as he is a full time student. 

    If your paying and have the receipts.. heck yes. It's an expense and your entitled to claim it.
