Do you have suggestions for undetecable boobie traps to use on interior doors to catch a theif?

Please give ideas to catch a theif. Someone has beeen stealing items, Do you have any simple ideas?

in the older days they used a bucket full of water over the door attached to a rope or chain, and upon opening of the door,voila,you will have a wet body underneath(if this helps any).Seriously,I have seen a display, the round happy face,with lettering"SMILE - YOU ARE ON CAMERA!".Also,you can affix a small fixture to the door frame on the bottom throwing an unseen beam to the door post across,causing an alarm when someone crosses.

Yeah sit on the other side of the door and when they try breaking in use a 357 magnum kick em ask em if they are dead if no answer then call 911.

Buy a camera and set it up in the room facing the door that the criminal is entering. You can rent this equipent for cheap, or set up a Nanny Cam. Catch them on tape and then let the law handle the outcome. (Just a thought).
