    It means, son of Christian. But there is nothing to translate, it's the same in English. Long ago, very long ago, people did not have last names, only first names. So, if Christian had a son, people would call him, son of Christian. Whenever a name has sen or son on the end,  it was due to the way people used them. Later on, people began making last names, so now everyone has two names, instead of one. I hope this is clear.
