    This is the rule of thumb (I learned this at the Bethesda Naval Hospital where the President gets treated.): A female ovulates 10 days after the first day of her last period. Ovulation lasts about a day and a half. Remember though, this can vary from woman to woman. The sure fire way to prevent pregnancy is to use condoms and the pill or a diaphragm or something like that.

        Everyone ovulates at a different time.. Between 12 and 20 days after the first day of your period... If you are not ready to have chilren either dont have sex or use birth control.. Even if you are on the pill.. Use a cindom... Protect yourself and your future mate.

          About 31...some women can, and do get pregnant any time at all...the first time...anytime...all the time.  Check out the Duggars!
