She cant walk straight , she talks to her self and when she tries to talk to me she mumbles. Her Doctor put her on a medication called risperidone, I feel as tho she has gotten worse mentally since she started taking the risperidone. Can anyone tell me what they know about this medication and is there anything that I can do to help her mentally? I would appreciate any input. Thanks DNanners..

In regards to the meds I would do a Goggle search asking for side effects about the particular meds she is taking. Copd can be managed . Some homework on breathing exercises is recommended . Take a look at www.a2zhealthbeautyandfitness.com strange name but a great resource ,like a doctor in your back pocket. The rest of the symptoms require more expertise than might be available here at least from me . Bill
