    You are not from Mexico are you? trying to work out how many will fit in a box car?


    In Australia we just call them freight carriages for the eddification of the rest of the world.

    For a 60' high Boxcar:


    Length, inside 60’ 9"


    Width, inside between rub rails 9’ 2"


    Length, over couplers 68’ 4 1/2"


    Width, inside between side sheets 9’ 6"


    Height, inside 13’ 1 5/8"


    Width, extreme 10’ 8"


    Height, extreme 17’ 0"


    Door opening, width 16’ 0"


    Height, top of rail to top of threshold 3’ 7 7/16"


    Door opening, height 12’ 9"
