I work for a private sector company, and i was wondering is it easy to get a union in to represent the employees.

I HAVE WORKED IN THIS FACTORY FOR 13 YEARS AND ALOT OF BULLYING HAS GONE ON AND IS STILL GOING ON TO THIS DAY.THIS COMPANY HAS NEVER HAD A UNION IN ITS FACILITY EVER,AND I WAS JUST ENQUIRING WOULD IT BE EASY FOR ME TO GET A REP FOR THE EMPLOYEES AS I FIND THE HR IN THIS FACILITY IS MORE FOR THE COMPANY THAN THE EMPLOYEES,I WOULD APPRECIATE  ANY HELP I COULD GET  IN TRYING TO GETTING THINGS MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

It is very easy but tread lightly and be sure that is what you want to do.

Tread very careful and do your homework best of luck

Scores of people have died doing what your attempting. When it comes to unions they are as corrupt an entity as the mob anyway. Unless you have a very large number of people backing you there is a possibility of reprisal. Watch your ass.

Like everyone has said be very careful, even the talk of union could cost you your job,and with 13 years in I sure would'nt go there.I would'nt even share this kind of talk with your closest coworker.Bullying goes on everywhere,if you are not happy seek another job rather than getting fired from the one you have.

unless your employer is unfair to his employees and working conditions are attrocious, you don't want a union. you will give up your freedom and innovative spirit and will work like a robot. If it's a small company, you might even lose your job!

not a problem i'll send "big louie' right over !!
