Nice to look at them on TV. They are killers by instinct. I'm surrounded by Black bears here, and although not as aggressive as a Grizzly they will kill to protect their cubs. Bears killed two elderly people last year in the town next to me. They were partially eaten.

Grizzly bears are beautiful. And most mamma mammals will protect their young...even if that means killing to protect. and ed, it is highly unusual for a black bear to attack 2 humans at once. Were they, perhaps, wounding it???
