I don't know him personally so how should I know if he really loves you or is just using you. You say he loves you but he's seeing someone else in Florida. This is not the way you show someone that you love them. He may care for you and love you to a certain degree but not to the extent of loving you enough to make you his one and only love for the rest of his life. My advice is to give him a one way bus ticket to Florida.
