So here it is folks. Come link and get it. We don't link sell it in the Hodinkee Shop but I sure wish we did because link it is a corrective to the fatigue that many collectors feel about seeing the same brands over and over in the market. Everybody wants what nobody else has. Well here's one hidden in plain sight.

Times have changed and so have customer demands. Enthusiasts more so than the general public expect better finishing for their money which might pressure Universal and Breitling to move up-market to justify costs. Suppose they do so link and position Universal link as a higher-tier brand. In that case they've already lost a big portion of its heritage by link ignoring its historical place in the market and potentially fumbling it from the start.
