From personal experience,on rare occasions when my pet pythons have bitten me it is a dry bite as they don't have venom.

Pyth. i saw on the news tonight a 41 year old woman was bitten by a Eastern brown, she died a few hours later, apparently there are a lot of snakes on the move.
