People are misinformed and out of touch so they try for attention with bad behaviour . We are responsible for our own deeds and your neighbours conduct will not get you into Heaven nor send you to hell . If we wish to make a statement it should be by example ,and good conduct. Quietly !!! Trust me it will not go unnoticed. This is the sad state of affairs these days .
